PrivateEmail SMTP

SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is how your PrivateEmail account sends emails through an email client.

How it works:
 PrivateEmail’s SMTP settings typically look like this:

  • SMTP Server: mail.privateemail.com
  • Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)
  • Username: your full email
  • Password: your mailbox password

Incorrect SMTP settings means your emails won’t send, so be sure that they’re correct!

Tips:

  • Choose SSL or TLS for secure delivery
  • Use the same credentials for SMTP as for IMAP
  • Check for firewall or antivirus blocking ports
