A customer is someone who has purchased your product or service. They’ve made it through the funnel—and hopefully, they’ll stay with you through good onboarding, support, and follow-up communication.

Why customers matter

Aside from making a purchase, this isn’t the end of the journey! Happy customers can become repeat buyers, brand advocates, or sources of referrals. Keeping them engaged is just as important as converting them in the first place. 

They can be considered as being in the ‘decision’ stage just before purchase.
