An opportunity is a lead that has moved through the sales funnel and is seriously considering buying. They’ve had discussions with sales, expressed specific interest, and may even be reviewing proposals or pricing.

What makes someone an opportunity?

They’ve passed through the lead qualification stages (MQL and SQL), and now your sales team is actively working to close the deal. They are one step away from becoming a paying customer, and are in the ‘consideration’ stage.
