Top performing cold emails

Great cold emails aren’t long, but they are sharp, personal, and well-timed.

What top emails have in common:

  • Short and human: 3–5 lines, max. Looks like something you’d send a colleague.
  • Relevance over cleverness: Show you understand their role, pain point, or industry.
  • One clear CTA: Don’t overload them with info! Offer a single, easy next step.
  • Clean formatting: No big graphics, no attachments, no HTML clutter.
  • Follow-up built in: The first email starts the conversation, and the magic is in the polite persistence.

Example framework:

Hey [Name],
I noticed [relevant detail] and thought [short insight or benefit].
Would you be open to [clear CTA such as a 10-min call or quick reply]?
