Instantly Health Score

The Instantly Health Score is a metric Instantly uses to measure your email account’s sender reputation and deliverability health.

How it works
It’s based on factors like open rates, bounce rates, spam complaints, and how often you land in inboxes vs. spam folders. Higher score = healthier account.

Why it matters
Your health score helps you catch problems early, like when your warmup isn’t working or you’re burning through bad lists.

Tips:

  • Monitor your score regularly
  • Pause sending if it drops too low
  • Clean your list and optimize your content

Private Email Host Name

What it means:
The host name is the server address used when setting up PrivateEmail in an app. It tells your email client where to connect.

How it works:
For both IMAP and SMTP, the hostname is usually:

  • mail.privateemail.com

Why it matters:
If you enter the wrong hostname, your app won’t connect, and you won’t be able to send or receive mail.

Tips:

  • Use the same hostname for both sending and receiving
  • Make sure your DNS is set up correctly

Confirm you’re using the right port (IMAP: 993, SMTP: 465/587)
