Do I need to leave the SES sandbox first?
To run warmup at meaningful volume, yes — sandbox limits SES to 200 sends/day. Request production access in the AWS console first, then connect to Warmup Inbox.
Does this work with SES dedicated IPs?
Yes — and we recommend it for high-volume senders. Dedicated IPs need warmup more than shared IPs because you're building reputation on a fresh address.
Will warmup help me get out of the sandbox faster?
Warmup builds sender reputation but doesn't influence AWS's sandbox-exit approval, which is a separate manual review. Submit your production access request with a clean use-case description; warmup runs once you're approved.
How does this affect my SES daily quota?
Warmup messages count against your SES send rate and daily quota. Most plans send 75–1,000 warmup messages per inbox per day. If you also run heavy outbound, request a quota increase from AWS.
How long until SES reputation improves?
Most teams see open-rate and inbox-placement lift within 14–21 days. Brand-new SES domains take 30–45 days for full warmup maturity.
